PROJECTS, ACTIVITIES AND DISTRICT EVENTS
In the fiscal year 1997-1998, the district held several events which were hosted by a club and/or clubs. They were the district convention, welcoming Lion dignitaries from Lions Clubs InternationaI including LCI 1st VP, Lions Day with the Police (PDRM), Peace Poster Contest, District Leadership Conference, District Twinning, World Lions Service Day and Launching the SightFirst Project, to name a few. Additionally, efforts were made to enhance the standards of Lionism through the organization of Workshops/Seminars and Dialogue Sessions.
